One of the silliest things about the Duggar-verse is the fact that People Magazine cannot stop promoting this family in a positive light, even when there’s nothing positive to say. On the day the news broke of Josh Duggar’s memberships at Ashley Madison and OkCupid earlier that same day People published and released theirr latest issue that was seeking to promote the Duggars as the super righteous Christian family they’ve been pretending to be. Mere hours. It illustrated that clearly People magazine has some sort of big financial stake in the Duggars remaining on television.

This issue focused on how Jill Duggar Dillion and Jessa Duggar Seewald were coping with the world discovering they’d been sexually molested by their brother Josh. The article had this to say:

“sources” telling the magazine that Jim-Bob and Michelle Duggar“truly felt people would understand and eventually be okay with it” and that “none of the Duggars think Josh is to blame.”

But even worse than Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar not understanding that folks would be horrified by their actions over the situation with Josh molesting his sisters is what Jessa Duggar is upset about according to People.

The cancellation of 19 Kids And Counting has cast a long shadow over what was set to be one of the happiest times in Jessa Duggar’s life. When the third daughter of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar announced she was expecting her first child, she looked forward to having her pregnancy and childbirth documented on camera.

‘It’s now bittersweet,’ a family insider tells People Wednesday. ‘It’s not lost on her that Jill giving birth to Israel got an entire TLC special devoted to it.’

Jessa, 22, who is married to Ben Seewald, is due to give birth on November 1, her first wedding anniversary. Until her brother Josh’s molestation scandal broke in May, she had anticipated being the center of attention on the family’s reality series.

‘Jessa would have liked to have had the same sort of platform to give thanks, show what a miracle she feels her child is and express her gratitude… Instead, the show isn’t there to chronicle this happy time, and even though she’s posting on social media, the scandal still gets brought up by commenters. So much has changed for Jessa compared to what Jill experienced, and it can’t be changed back. And that’s sad for her.”

Jessa is upset that she will not be the center of media attention and have her birth filmed!

But even lower than that is the fact that it looks likely that Josh’s long-suffering wife Anna will be a likely target for the family’s ire over the news of Josh’s infidelity. From People magazine talk of Anna’s role and the blame she’ll receive for what happened:

“Maybe not publicly, ever, but privately, there will be some suggestion of whether or not she should have been more aware of the pressures Josh was under, of the issues he was facing, and how she could have better counseled him or helped him,” says the source.

Remember what her mother-in-law had to say about marriage and how to make it work? We haven’t. It leads to

“Be available,” the 49-year-old said in an interview last year. “Anyone can fix him lunch, but only one person can meet that physical need of love that he has. You always need to be available when he calls.”

Several other media outlets are reporting that Joy Anna Duggar has fled the family home and moved in with Jill and Derick Dillion in Central America. How many others will leave in the coming months?
