Quoting Quiverfull: Jill Duggar Dillard & Derick Dillard Bash Catholics & Any Christianity Not Their Own? November 6, 2015

quotingquiverfullby Derick Dillard from the Dillard Family Blog – God Has Called Us

Editor’s note: This is Derick’s reply to people being offended by his and Ben Seewald’s Catholic bashing both online and in real life.  Notice that he adds more than a few other religions, including many Christian religions whose beliefs are not that dissimilar to his own. According to The Inquistr this is getting the Dillards lots of negative attention and feedback, as it should.

God did not call us to convert Catholics.

God did not call us to convert Catholics, but God has called us to follow His example. He has not called us to convert Buddhists, Muslims, Baptists, atheists, Mormons, Lutherans, Jehovah’s Witnesses, Methodists, agnostics, or Hindus. God has called us to Central America to preach the good news of the kingdom of God. My desire is to preach good news to the poor and to proclaim liberty to the captives. I have the greatest treasure in Christ, and I want others to know that hope as well.

In other Duggar related news it has been reported that Jessa and Ben Seewald are unhappy with his sister Jessica announcing the birth of their son last night on Facebook. Apparently they have some sort of paid exclusive deal with People magazine and by sharing the news she blew their exclusive right to announce.

In a move I like to call ‘The Revenge of the Catholics’ Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar were disinvited to speak at Alberta, Canada’s Alberta Home Education Association. It was recently announced that the Duggars would speak this spring at their annual conference, but the flood of negative publicity, outraged comments and pressure by the Catholic community the invitation was withdrawn.
