NLQ Question of the Week: Why Are Some Sins Unforgivable – Duggar Family Edition? March 24, 2016

QuestionoftheweekThis is a new series we have started running on Thursdays. Examining some of the questions involving long held Quiverfull theology and life.

This question comes directly out of the various tabloid reports of Josh Duggar returning home from Reformers Unanimous. Why is the sin of molesting little girls ruled to be forgivable yet infidelity and pornography aren’t? To me this seems backwards, it seems like molesting children would be the bigger sin.

This week’s roundup of Duggar tabloid fodder that may or may not be true..

Radar Online –  Michelle Mourned Josh Duggar Like He Was ‘Killed’ During Sex Scandal

The Huffington Post – Advertisers Do Not Want To Be Associated With New Duggar Show

Design and Trend – ’19 Kids and Counting’ People Angry About Josh Duggar’s Rumored New Job

Jezebel – This Week in Tabloids: Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar Are Divorcing After 31 Years Of Baby Making

Well I’m sure you get the gist of what is supposed to be happening with the Duggars. Many of the tabloids cannot even agree on which Duggar parent, Jim Bob or Michelle, wants to cut Josh out of the family.

Since we did have a Duggar-defender in full ‘Jesus says up yours’ mode yesterday here I’m requesting anyone coming here to defend the Duggars please read our special Duggar Fans Comment Policy first before commenting.
