According to the print edition of In Touch Weekly and Raw Story’s website Josh is making a play for his own television show from The Learning Channel.
This news from the usual ‘unnamed Duggar insider’ comes on a week where we’ve seen photos of Josh selling used cars at the family business were published by People Magazine – another stunt by the Duggars to keep the family name in the press. Others are accusing sisters Jessa Duggar Seewald and Jill Duggar Dillard of scheduling their next pregnancies to coincide with the new season of their reality show ‘Counting On’
They seem tone deaf to the reality that there are many fewer people wanting to view anything Duggar than there have been in the past. Advertisers for ‘Counting On’ have dropped out faster than flies sprayed with insecticide. The ratings have dropped off as well, likely due to the very boring nature of the show.
From Raw Story:
“Josh is determined to fix his image so he can make a comeback,” a source close to the family told Us Weekly. “He’ll stop at nothing to get back in front of the cameras again, especially because he’s broke and has no prospect of work.
According to the source, “Getting another reality show is the only way he can think of to make real money.”
It won’t take long for the Duggars to work through the staged series of interviews asking for forgiveness. Chances are, the family will end up on shows that will help him deliver a tearful message about the evils of Satan and sex.
“Josh is having Anna reach out to people like Dr. Phil and Megyn Kelly so he can have his mea culpa moment,” the source claims. “If that goes well and people are sympathetic towards him, he is sure he can convince TLC to give him and Anna a spin-off – something to do with healing their marriage within the Christian faith.”
Unreal. Why does he not get a job like most other people? Is he too good to take any sort of job? He’s not educated and does not have many job skills. He should be grateful for the opportunity of any job, even something like digging ditches or working at a fast food place. His options are extremely limited at this point.
Josh did those awful things. He’s confessed to them. A wrecked reputation is the consequences of what he did. There’s no forgetting that no matter how many times he goes on Dr. Phil or gets the television show.
