NLQ Question of the Week: Why Does Quiverfull Lead to Chronic Illness in Women? August 25, 2016

QuestionoftheweekThis is a series we run every Thursday. The questions are things that people who may not know much about the Quiverfull movement or even Fundamentalist or Evangelical Christianity ask about the lifestyle. Examining some of the questions involving long held Quiverfull theology and life can only shine a light on the toxic nature of this lifestyle choice.

While recently reading through the archives of Lori Alexander and other Quiverfull mothers it is apparent that many women even still living that theology suffer from long term medical conditions. We’ve seen this in many that have left Quiverfull, like Vyckie Garrison, myself and many others that write and post here that the aftermath is many times chronic poor health.

Why do you think that it seems women living in Quiverfull have a higher incidence of long term health issues?
