Quoting Quiverfull: If Your Wife is Voting For Clinton Punish Her With No Sex? October 3, 2016

Editor’s note: It’s been all over Facebook that Pat Robertson said all the sniffing presidential candidate Donald Trump did during that recent debate was merely ‘the Holy Spirit’. Is that what they are calling cocaine these days? I kid. But this? Telling men to cut off the sex if your wife votes for Hillary Clinton is pretty extreme. Disney now owns the channel that airs his show but even the fantasies that they push are more believable than what is coming out of his mouth lately. Time to retire.

ETA: This might be just baseless rumor as I’m not finding any other source for this quote by Robertson. But it’s not a far stretch to imagine he might have said this.

ETA2: It’s been confirmed that both the sniffing/Holy Spirit quote and this one were made up by satirical sites and picked up by other media. Nothing real to see here, move along…LOL

“And while we’re on the subject of beating,” Robertson continued shamelessly, “I was thinking that that might not be such a bad punishment for married women who are thinking about voting for Hillary Clinton in November’s election. But, then again, it’s probably a little harsh to beat on your wife just because she has no idea who it is God wants to be president. Okay, here’s a compromise: non-Christian wives should get a beating from their husbands, and Christian wives should have their husbands boycott intercourse until they change their mind. How’s that?”
