Quoting Quiverfull: Our Hate is Better Than Your Hate? October 15, 2016

quotingquiverfullby Steven Anderson from Faithful Word Baptist Church – Street Preaching Clowns

Editor’s note: Tempted to label this one ‘Send In The Clowns’ Steven spent this entire blog posting trying to differentiate his church from the more inflammatory street preachers and protesters like Westboro Baptist. He called the rest of them ‘Clowns’. I don’t see a lot of difference between what he does and what they do, do you? There’s a nasty paragraph at the blog on his views that anyone not identifying as heterosexual being beyond saving.

The BBC Documentary entitled, “Hate Preachers in America,” came out a few days ago. What I didn’t like about the film is that they put our church side by side with a pompous gang of “street preachers” who hold up signs and yell at people out in public. Since they went back and forth between showing our church and that other group, someone might get the impression that we are affiliated with those clowns.

The goal of the documentary was to make us seem hateful, so portraying us as humble soul winners would not have furthered the BBC’s liberal agenda. Whenever they showed clips of me preaching, they attempted to undermine the message by editing out the supporting Bible verses. They wanted to make it seem like I was preaching my own opinions and that our church members were just following me instead of getting their views from the Bible.

I didn’t appreciate being painted as a Trump Supporter, when I don’t support Trump at all—I never have.

This is the documentary that Steven Anderson is talking about. Fascinating look at the crazier fundamentalist groups that do street preaching. It’s ironic that he’s upset that he and his church were portrayed in a bad light in the documentary considering he’s the same guy that tricked Holocaust survivors into appearing in his Holocaust denial film. Karma.
