Quoting Quiverfull: Practicing Medicine Without a License Again? November 8, 2016

Editor’s note: Paging Mel again. Is there any legitimate science behind these claims?

After seeing last week that Michael Pearl thinks that depression and other ‘womans complaints’ are problems with the bowels we can see where his daughter gets her bent for telling people what’s physically wrong with them. We’re not saying here at NLQ that parasites are a real problem, because clearly they are in underdeveloped parts of the world. Just look at the work done by the Carter Center to reduce River Blindness due to parasites in drinking water in third world countries. But here in America this is not such a problem like Shoshanna is trying to make it out as. Asthma and other conditions listed are not primarily caused by worm infestation!

Parasites have been linked to almost every illness. However, just because you have parasites does not mean that you are sick. Many people have parasites and never know. When your body has a healthy, strong, immune system, it can deal with most parasites. However, if you have poor circulation, your pH is off-balance, your organs and tissues lack oxygen, or your immune system crashes, it creates favorable conditions for the invasion and multiplication of parasites. Parasites migrate to the areas of the body where it is not functioning optimally. Often people get a disease, crashing their immune system, thus making their body a perfect home for parasites. This makes the disease worse.

People often end up with issues such as viruses, fungal and bacterial infections, anemia, bloating, fatigue or hunger, allergies, asthma, gas, digestive disorders, nervousness, skin rashes, foggy brains, aches and pains, chemical and metal poisoning, and much more.

Most doctors are not trained to recognize the symptoms of parasitic infections—and even when they do, the medicine they give you to kill the worms is very toxic to you.

But there is good news! God gave us three herbs that kill over one hundred different parasites:

…and she goes on to give out exact amounts of herbal concoctions she just happens to sell through her own website and the Pearls website. While vitamins and supplements can be helpful it is not always the best answer. Have you had issues with someone in your old faith community selling what essentially amounts to snake oil for real medical problems and pressuring you not to use conventional medicine?

QUOTING QUIVERFULL is a regular feature of NLQ – we present the actual words of noted Quiverfull leaders, cultural enforcers and those that seek to keep women submitted to men and ask our readers: What do you think? Agree? Disagree? This is the place to state your opinion. Please, let’s keep it respectful – but at the same time, we encourage readers to examine the ideas of Quiverfull and Spiritual Abuse honestly and thoughtfully.
