by Lori Alexander from The Transformed Wife – Young Women are in Desperate Need
Editor’s note: Lori yet again goes on a self-justification rant as to why she should be able to shame and blame young women. What I have quoted below are a merely a few of the negatives Lori lays at the feet of those younger than her. Basically if you are a living breathing younger woman not exactly copying Lori’s rules to a tee then you’re in this group she’s putting down.
Many young women today drink too much alcohol and are not sober minded. They make decisions based upon their emotions and feelings, instead of what is right and good. This is why they need to be taught to be sober by godly, older women.
Many young women divorce their husbands if they are not happy or they nag, manipulate, or try to control them. There are many foolish women who are tearing their homes down with their own hands. This is why older women need to teach them to love their husbands.
Many young women act like men today in the way they act and talk. They burp and talk loudly, sit with their legs sprawled apart, speak disrespectfully to those older than them, and act unfeminine. This is why older women need to teach them to be discreet.
Many young women like to dress sexy and draw attention to themselves. They wear bikinis, yoga pants, short shorts, skin-tight clothing, lots of makeup, and low-cut tops and enjoy getting attention from men and turning them on. This is why they need to be taught by older women to be modest with a gentle, kind, and quiet spirit “which is in the sight of God of great price”; being taught to turn their energies more to beautifying their inside rather than their outside since this is what lasts (1 Peter 3:4).
QUOTING QUIVERFULL is a regular feature of NLQ – we present the actual words of noted Quiverfull leaders, cultural enforcers and those that seek to keep women submitted to men and ask our readers: What do you think? Agree? Disagree? This is the place to state your opinion. Please, let’s keep it respectful – but at the same time, we encourage readers to examine the ideas of Quiverfull and Spiritual Abuse honestly and thoughtfully.
