A group of women wearing red Trump hats dropped to their knees to stage an organized group prayer in front of the Clark County Election Department in Nevada, a state where votes are still being counted in the hotly contested race for the position of President of the U.S.
The political prayer event was reported by Alyssa Estrada, a Producer at CBS News covering the West Coast. She noted in a tweet that the women were “praying justice will be done and that righteousness prevails.”

It appears like these women are trying to convince God to intervene in the presidential election, much like Donald Trump‘s own spiritual adviser did when she held a prayer event the day before. But it seems unlikely that any deity will be able to override the will of the voters, whatever that ends up being.
