You’re Invited to a Very Merry Mithras!

Over the past few days I’ve come to realize that I’m not the only Pagan not celebrating Christmas tonight and tomorrow. Many of us won’t be able to work and shopping isn’t going to happen. Many of our Christian friends will be too busy to hang out and some of our Pagan friends are spending time with their families. While I personally am actually looking forward to spending the day in my pj’s and consuming mass quantities of sugary breakfast cereal, I know how depressing it can be to have the world around you stop for a holiday you have no part in.

So for those of you not celebrating Christmas with your families and not looking forward to spending this holiday along I’ve decided to host a Very Merry Mithas right here on Patheos. There will be games, videos, music, chit-chat, and some rather interesting discussions I’m sure. Feel free to pop in and celebrate with us anytime this evening or all day tomorrow. Festivities will start off with a Pagan Festivus celebration at 8 PM EST. Check back in here or keep tabs on Facebook and Twitter for details.

There’s no shame in not celebrating Christmas if you’re not Christian, but that doesn’t mean you have to spend the holiday alone either. Atheists, Jews, Buddhists and other non-Christmassy folks are welcome to pop in as well!
