Death by drowning: Muslim migrants throw 12 Christians overboard April 17, 2015

That’s not Christian love, that’s the Religion of Peace: Muslim migrants toss 12 Christians overboard while crossing the Mediterranean from Libya to Italy.

Multiple media reports indicate a group of Muslim migrants from the Ivory Coast, Mali and Senegal attacked a small number of Christians from Nigeria and Ghana, throwing a dozen people overboard while crossing the Mediterranean on a large rubber boat.

12 Christians are presumed dead by drowning.

A statement from the Italian police said the motive for the attack was that the victims “professed the Christian faith while the aggressors were Muslim.”

Survivors said they had boarded a rubber boat April 14 on the Libyan coast with 105 passengers aboard. During the crossing, a group of Muslim passengers threatened fellow passengers from Nigeria and Ghana after the latter declared themselves to be Christians.

The Muslims subsequently attacked the Christians, throwing 12 of them overboard to a watery grave.

On their arrival in Palermo, Italy, 15 Muslim migrants were arrested, accused of multiple homicides aggravated by religious hatred, police said in a statement. The 15 Muslim migrants arrested over the attack are from the Ivory Coast, Senegal, Mali and Guinea Bissau.

Currently there is a surge in migration from the Middle East and Africa to Italy via the Mediterranean. Most attempt the dangerous voyage to flee war and poverty in the Middle East and Africa.
