After the historic Supreme Court ruling affirming marriage equality, Arizona Pastor Steven Anderson calls for the execution of gays and lesbians as well as any member of the clergy who performs same-sex marriage.
In a long and rambling sermon where gays and lesbians are constantly referred to as “homos,” Pastor Anderson makes his biblical case for hate, while arguing that LGBT people occupy a special and irredeemable status in the eyes of God.
In his Sunday Evening Service streamed live on Jun 28, 2015, Anderson called for the stoning to death of ministers who performed same-sex marriage ceremonies and repeated his Bible based call for the execution of all LGBT people.
Demonizing the LGBT community, equating pedophillia and homosexuality, and insisting that LGBT people be referred to as “filthy sodomites,” Anderson’s sermon is two hours of obnoxious Christian hate.
However, much of Anderson’s sermon is directed at other Christian leaders who do not do enough to oppose “the homos.” Anderson railed against any clergy member who would dare to perform a same-sex marriage, declaring:
Anybody who performs the ceremony should be stoned!
This is not the first time Pastor Anderson of the Faithful Word Baptist Church has called for the execution of LGBT people. Last December, claiming “God commands it,” the controversial Arizona pastor called for the mass execution of all LGBT people, promising an “AIDS free Christmas” as a result. And earlier this summer, Anderson issued a public prayer for the death of Caitlyn Jenner, claiming Jenner is “the evangelist of sodomy and filth to the world.”
In his Sunday Sermon Anderson attacked Christians who accept LGBT people in general and Caitlyn Jenner in particular as being Christian, reiterating his claim that LGBT people are irredeemable in the eyes of God.
In concluding his sermon of hate, Anderson repeatedly opined that he is sick of Christians who are “soft on sodomy,” and warned followers that children who attend “soft on sodomy” churches will “burn in hell.”
