Planned Parenthood Shooter Told Cops: ‘No More Baby Parts’

Planned Parenthood Shooter Told Cops: ‘No More Baby Parts’ November 28, 2015

After killing three and injuring nine others the Planned Parenthood shooter told police: “No more baby parts.”

Robert Lewis Dear is under arrest after being identified as the gunman who shot and killed two civilians and a police officer and injuring nine others at a Planned Parenthood clinic in Colorado Springs on Friday.

NBC is now reporting that when taken into custody Friday night, Dear told police: “No more baby parts.”

Recently Planned Parenthood has been the victim of a well financed and cynical campaign to smear the organization dedicated to healthy family planning and women’s reproductive health.

The Center for Medical Progress, a front for radical, anti-abortion, forced-birth extremists, has been running a highly orchestrated campaign to discredit Planned Parenthood and ultimately undermine legal and safe abortion.

The group recently released heavily edited, deceptive and dishonest videos about Planned Parenthood designed to generate political support to defund the organization and generate public outrage.

The heavily edited videos supposedly shows Planned Parenthood doctors discussing the illegal sale of fetal body parts after abortions, and has been used by anti-choice, Christian extremists to excite and inflame opponents of reproductive freedom.

For the record, Planned Parenthood was never “selling” fetal tissue. This is a dishonest and fabricated claim made in an underhanded attempt to discredit Planned Parenthood and ultimately undermine legal and safe abortion.

It is clear that the Center for Medical Progress has been running a highly orchestrated campaign to discredit Planned Parenthood and ultimately undermine legal and safe abortion. However, perhaps even more significant, the group has been issuing a not so subtle dog whistle to unstable, anti-abortion, religious extremists.

Ultimately, those dishonest videos have been a call to action, and an incitement to violence. A call apparently answered by Robert Lewis Dear at a Planned Parenthood clinic in Colorado Springs on Friday.
