The once tough talking Donald Trump praises Islam and melts like a little schoolgirl when presented with something shiny and gold from the despotic Saudi King.
An emotional President Trump gave Saudi King Salman a delicate curtsey after being presented with “The Collar of Abdulaziz Al Saud Medal” at the Royal Court Palace.
what would we call this? a bow? a little bop? a…curtsy? pic.twitter.com/yjqa5x6F7O

Trump, who once mocked former President Obama for supposedly bowing to the Saudi despot, was happy to grovel and bow for the King while being presented with the pretty golden necklace.
But this was only the beginning of Trump’s hypocrisy.
During the 2016 presidential campaign Trump supporters cheered loudly when Trump promised to ban Muslims from the U.S., and hurled all sorts of insults and innuendos at Muslims and Islam.
However, when meeting face to face with those he had castigated and demonized in the past, Trump abandoned his convictions and fawned over the Saudi despot responsible for so much suffering and so many human rights abuses in the dark and draconian Islamic theocracy.
Addressing a Middle East summit in Saudi Arabia’s capital Riyadh, Trump called Islam “one of the world’s great faiths,” while refusing to use the term “radical Islamic terrorism.” Previously Trump had mocked both Obama and Hillary Clinton for supposedly refusing to use the term “radical Islamic terrorism.”
Many of the deplorables who supported Cheeto Jesus in the 2016 election were not amused with Trump’s obsequious flip flop on Islam.
Posting an image of the curtsey seen round the world on his Twitter feed, long time Trump supporter Roger Stone opined:
Candidly this makes me want to puke

Using the hashtag #JaredsIdea Stone went on to blame Trump’s flip flop on Islam on Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner.
Perhaps most important, while in Saudi Arabia Trump also “sealed a $110 billion arms deal” with the country, according to Reuters. By publicly siding with the Saudis and opposing Iran, Trump places the U.S. on the side of the Sunnis in a sectarian war being raged between Sunnis and Shias across the Middle East. Choosing sides in a Holy War between different sects of Islam is foolish. By arming Saudi Arabia Trump only further endangers the U.S. ands the rest of the world.
Bottom line: An obsequious President Trump abandoned his previous convictions, flip flopped on Islam, and bowed before the Saudi King. Are we winning yet?
