Angry televangelist Jim Bakker warns that those “mean people” who mock him for making failed prophecies will be punished by God.
Bakker, the disgraced and infamous televangelist who spent time in prison after bilking his followers out of $158 million, went on a wild rant during his television program on Friday, raging against those that make fun of him and his failed end times prophecies.
At times roaring at the camera in anger, Bakker declared:
When God says something to you, you don’t always know the exact time it’s going to happen. [So] stop beating up the prophets because God says, ‘Woe unto you when you beat up on the prophets.’
God is speaking to his people. The only ones who probably aren’t talking to God these days are mean people in America, people who just are anti-Christ.
If you don’t want to hear it, just shut me off. Especially you folks that monitor me every day to try to destroy me. Just go away. You don’t have to be there, you don’t have to hear it. But one day, you’re going to shake your fist in God’s face and you’re going to say, ‘God, why didn’t you warn me?’ And He’s going say, ‘You sat there and you made fun of Jim Bakker all those years. I warned you but you didn’t listen.’
That’s right, Jim Bakker says if you mock Jim Bakker, God’s going to punish you!
Bakker has demonstrated a keen concern about people mocking him or God. Previously the televangelist declared that the victims of the terrorist bombing at an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester, England “literally invited” the attack by mocking God.
Bakker is also a big Trump supporter, and recently joined a whole host of conservative Christians warning that there would be violence, insurrection, and civil war if President Donald Trump is impeached.
Bottom line: Jim Bakker believes he is a prophet of God, and that God will punish those who dare to mock Jim Bakker, God’s prophet.
