Domestic terrorist apprehended: The MAGA Bomber has been identified as Cesar Sayoc, a Trump-loving registered Republican.
Cesar Sayoc, 56, a registered Republican from South Florida, has been arrested in connection with the mailing of explosive devices to prominent Democrats and other targets of President Donald Trump, according to multiple media reports.
Federal authorities have arrested Cesar Sayoc of Florida in connection with the suspected explosive packages discovered this week, law enforcement sources say.
Sayoc was arrested at a business in Plantation, Florida, a city some 30 miles north of Miami, a source said.
According to reports Sayoc drove a van covered in stickers promoting Donald Trump and Mike Pence and attacking prominent Democrats. Mediaite reports:
Police removed the van belonging to the suspect from a parking lot in Florida, which was covered in pro-Trump bumper stickers. Authorities covered the van in a tarp for transportation, but the bumper stickers could still be seen — including images of Trump, one sticker reading “CNN SUCKS” and another stating “DISHONEST MEDIA.”

Sayoc also had a Twitter page where he posted comments against Democrats and for Trump. Vice News reports:
A Twitter account registered with Sayoc’s first and middle names frequently tweeted photographs of himself at Trump rallies, along with hundreds of racist memes and conspiracy theories about Barack Obama, Maxine Waters, and Elizabeth Warren https://t.co/bZpRIre7zd

USA Today reports Sayoc has an extensive criminal record:
In 2002, according to online court records from Miami-Dade County, Sayoc was charged with threatening to “throw, project, place, or discharge any destructive device.”
A destructive device is described in the statute as a “bomb, grenade, mine, rock, missile, pipebomb or similar device.”
It is a second-degree felony.
He was placed on one-year probation.
