Congressman Steve King Claims Humanity Wouldn’t Exist Without Rape And Incest

Congressman Steve King Claims Humanity Wouldn’t Exist Without Rape And Incest August 14, 2019

Family values: GOP Congressman Steve King praises rape and incest, claims that if it was not for rape and incest, no one would be left on earth.

King, a despicable Christian extremist and a deplorable Trump-loving white nationalist, made his horrific comments while trying to defend his anti-abortion, forced-birth policy position that would deny a woman access to an abortion, even in cases of rape and incest.

Delivering a speech in Urbandale, Iowa, King said:

What if we went back through all the family trees and just pulled those people out that were products of rape and incest? Would there be any population of the world left if we did that?

Considering all the wars and all the rape and pillage that has taken place … I know I can’t certify that I was not a part of a product of that. I’d like to think that every one of the lives of us are as precious as any other life.

King’s comments were quickly denounced by many, as the conservative Christian congressman trended at number 1 on Twitter:

King, a conservative Christian congressman representing Iowa, has a well deserved reputation for taking controversial positions defending racism, bigotry, and anti-LGBT sentiments.

For example, earlier this year King defended white supremacy and white nationalism, at one point asking how the terms “white supremacy” and “white nationalism” became offensive.

Indeed, King has often and repeatedly made offensive and racist remarks. In fact, last October King defended his support of European Nazis by claiming that if they were in the U.S. they would be Republicans.

And last year the Iowa congressman raised eyebrows when he retweeted a message endorsing white supremacist Geert Wilders, a far-right candidate for Dutch prime minister.

In addition to being a White Nationalist, King is also a dangerous conservative Christian extremist. Previously, while appearing on CNN, King argued that gay and lesbian parents should not be eligible for child care tax credits, claiming that only so-called “natural families” were the only families that deserve child care tax credits.

Bottom line: Defending his hardline views on abortion, GOP Congressman Steve King claims rape and incest are essential to the survival of humanity.
