Frightened little man needs a gun: Ben Shapiro, a man of diminutive intellect and character, threatens presidential hopeful Beto O’Rourke with gun violence because gays are scary.
Shapiro, reacting to remarks made by presidential hopeful Beto O’Rourke at CNN’s Equality Town Hall last night, declared:
Beto O’Rourke does not get to raise my child. And if he tries, I will meet him at the door with a gun.
Shapiro was expressing his small-minded fear and anger because O’Rourke said churches that oppose same-sex marriage should lose their tax exempt status while speaking last night at CNN’s Equality Town Hall.
At the event CNN anchor Don Lemon asked the former Texas congressman the following:
Do you think religious institutions like colleges, churches, charities, should they lose their tax-exempt status if they oppose same sex marriage?
There can be no reward, no benefit, no tax break, for anyone, or any institution, any organization in America that denies the full human rights and the full civil rights of every single one of us.
And so, as president, we’re going to make that a priority and we are going to stop those who are infringing upon the human rights of our fellow Americans.
This sensible and reasonable answer supporting fundamental human rights was too much for the juvenile conservative. In an irrational rage, Shapiro went on a humiliating rant, embarrassing himself while demonstrating his profound and delusional fear of the gays.
Shapiro said, in part:
You want a culture war? You damn well have it, Beto O’Rourke.
My right to raise my child in my faith is my right. It is my right to raise my child with the moral precepts that I find to be beneficial to my child. Beto O’Rourke does not get to raise my child. And if he tries, I will meet him at the door with a gun.

Ben Shapiro warns that if politicians try to mandate LGBTQ ‘indoctrination’ at all schools, then he will “pick up a gun.” Further adding “Beto O’Rourke does not get to raise my child. And if he tries, I will meet him at the door with a gun” pic.twitter.com/Hq7SyF7FeI

And more reactions to Shapiro’s melt down via Twitter:
Honestly, it’s bizarre how quickly a lot of conservatives go into full “If you enact a policy I don’t like, I will shoot you” mode. pic.twitter.com/UXJQ4hjPZn— Parker Molloy (@ParkerMolloy) October 11, 2019
Ben Shapiro is what qualifies as an “intellect” in GOP circles. In fact, he’s the Alex Jones of Glenn Becks.
The reality that neither Beto O’Rourke or the government is going to his door to “indoctrinate” his kids, but the FBI should for threatening a presidential candidate. pic.twitter.com/H8n9zeTAZf

I’m concerned for Beto O’Rourke – conservative hosts like Ben Shapiro are openly threatening him and could mobilize others to do something awful.
I’m also concerned for Ben Shapiro – we all know his arm would snap like a twig if he tried to pick up a gun. https://t.co/cpO6uCrqwH

Ben Shapiro, the guy who inspired a white supremacist to shoot up a mosque, now says he’ll have to take up arms if anti-gay religious schools no longer get tax breaks. https://t.co/3iA7nctHCQ

Ben Shapiro defiantly pulling out one of those tiny pistols Old West madams kept in their garters to defend his family from President Beto’s Gay Rights Curriculum Enforcement Agency, firing a warning shot in the air and having both his legs shattered by the downward kick

Bottom line: Ben Shapiro, a pathetic and frightened little man, threatens presidential hopeful Beto O’Rourke with gun violence because gays are scary.
