Cult of Trump: Former Minnesota congresswoman and Christian extremist Michele Bachmann claims we’ve never had a president with “greater moral clarity” than we do with Donald Trump.
Appearing on Tony Perkins’ Washington Watch program earlier this week, Bachmann railed against the attempt to impeach Trump, calling it a “pathetic joke,” before going on to sing the praises of her dear leader.

On the program Bachmann said:
This is such a pathetic joke. They have no candidate on the Democrat side for 2020 that they can get excited about. They have no message, they have no record of accomplishment, they’re doing nothing in Congress, so this [impeachment] is the only thing they have to run on.
Our President of the United States — he is like nobody else I have ever met in my life,” she continued. “And he doesn’t scare easy and he’s gonna stare these guys down. They have no idea who they’re dealing with. He understands the difference between good and evil. We have not seen a president with greater moral clarity than this president.
This is not the first time Bachmann has made over the top claims in favor of Trump. Last April Bachmann made headlines after claiming that she’s never seen a more “godly” or ‘biblical” president than Donald Trump.
Previously, Bachmann served as part of President Trump’s Evangelical Advisory Board, providing “support” to Trump on “issues important to Evangelicals and other people of faith in America.”
More recently, Evangelical leaders have been pushing Trump to name Bachmann as the next ambassador to the United Nations.
Bachmann is a controversial figure, and a dangerous Christian extremist. In the past, Bachmann has:
- argued that immigrants should be indoctrinated into “America’s predominant Christian religion;”
- attributed the United States’ success to the Ten Commandments while claiming that U.S. lawmakers stand “under the authority” of the ancient biblical figure Moses;
- claimed that gays promote child rape, and pedophilia;
- claimed that God uses terrorist attacks to humiliate President Barack Obama.
And earlier this month Bachmann made the absurd claim that climate change is “fake news” because God promised Noah there would be no more floods.
Bottom line: Former Rep. Michele Bachmann claims we’ve never had a president with “greater moral clarity” than we do with Donald Trump.
The stupid, it burns.
