Televangelist Pat Robertson warns that “the president of the United States is in danger of losing the mandate of heaven” if he betrays the Kurds in Syria.
Speaking on his 700 Club television program earlier today, televangelist Pat Robertson warned Trump that he would lose “the mandate of heaven” if he betrays the “democratic forces in northern Syria.”
On his program Robertson declared:
Ladies and gentlemen, I want to say right now that I’m absolutely appalled that the United States is going to betray those democratic forces in northern Syria. That we’re possibly going to allow the Turks to come in against the Kurds. Erdogan is a thug. He has taken control of his country as a dictator. To say he is an ally of America is nonsense. He is in it for himself.
And the president, who allowed Khashoggi to be cut in pieces without any repercussions whatsoever, is now allowing the Christians and the Kurds to be massacred by the Turks. Now I believe, and I want to say this with great solemnity, the president of the United States is in danger of losing the mandate of heaven if he permits this to happen.

Robertson is not the only one appalled at Trump’s rash and disastrous decision to betray the Kurds by pulling U.S. troops from the Syrian border. Indeed, it seems almost everyone agrees that Trump’s decision to pull U.S. troops from the Syrian border is a disaster.
Trump’s betrayal of the Kurds is a gift to Putin and Assad.
While the Washington Post reports:
Trump betrays a friend — and hands a gift to our enemies.
Bottom line: Televangelist Pat Robertson warns Trump that he “is in danger of losing the mandate of heaven” if he betrays the Kurds in Syria.
