Rebel Without A Clue: An ignorant and thoughtless Vice President Mike Pence refuses to wear a mask while touring the Mayo Clinic, even though he was told to wear one.
When Vice President Mike Pence walked into the Mayo Clinic on Tuesday, he wasn’t wearing a face mask.
Everyone else in the building was, according to reporters who were traveling with him. After all, it has been the policy at the Rochester, Minnesota, facility since April 13. They even say they’ll provide one.
Vice President Mike Pence on Tuesday toured the Mayo Clinic without wearing a mask, despite that renowned medical facility telling him that masks are required for visitors and everyone else there to slow the spread of the coronavirus.
Video from a journalist pool camera at the Mayo Clinic at one point shows that 10 people in the area around Pence, including a patient, were wearing masks and personal protective equipment.

On social media, many condemned Pence for his callous vanity and anti-science ignorance:
This is what happens when you put someone who doesn’t believe in evolution, thinks smoking doesn’t kill, and said that climate change is not a real threat in charge of the coronavirus response.pic.twitter.com/THt7VaOqgw

In Pence’s visit to the Mayo Clinic, he was trying to show us how “tough” he is—but just showed his arrogance, lack of concern for others, and vanity. pic.twitter.com/ZsCi70p6Pb

Monster. And shame on Mayo Clinic

Mayo Clinic asked Vice President Mike Pence to wear a mask prior to his visit. Not only did he refuse, but he intimidated Mayo Clinic into deleting its tweet about it. Staged photo opportunities are more important to Pence than protecting American lives, which is beyond shameful. pic.twitter.com/8s6YHAxvAr

Mike Pence wont go in a room with a woman, but he will walk around the Mayo Clinic without a mask? Get the F out of here.
