In The New York Times: PRRI Finds Americans Exaggerate Church Attendance

The New York Time’s blog, The Upshot, reports on PRRI’s latest study, “I Know What You Did Last Sunday: Measuring Social Desirability Bias in Self-Reported Religious Behavior, Belief, and Belonging,” which uncovers discrepancies between how much Americans say they attend church and how much they actually do. These findings were originally presented by Research Director Dan Cox at the 69th annual national meeting of the American Association of Public Opinion Research (AAPOR).
