Judge Jones in Bloomington, Indiana

I received an e-mail from the NCSE about an event that is just a few days away:

I thought that you might like to know, albeit at short notice, that Judge John E. Jones III, who presided over the Kitzmiller v. Dover case in 2005, will be speaking on judicial independence at 4:00 p.m. on December 4 at in the Whittenberger Auditorium at the Indiana Memorial Union, 900 E. Seventh St. in Bloomington.

The lecture, part of the College of Arts and Sciences’ inaugural Themester, “Evolution, Diversity and Change,” is free and open to the public, so please spread the word! Also on December 4, Jones will be the guest on WFIU public radio’s news and public affairs program “Noon Edition.”
