In Which The Clever Badger Unsurprisingly Addresses Ken Ham’s Lack Of Key Points (and other things around the blogosphere are also mentioned)

The Clever Badger has a post on Ken Hamโ€™s post which was a reactionย (it canโ€™tย be calledย a response) to criticisms I had offered of Ken Ham and of young-earth creationism in general.ย Jay also adds to and supplements the criticisms I offered.

From Jayโ€™s blog I found a link to another post about Hamโ€™s failure to respond to my criticisms, this one at The Adventures of Skippy the Skeptic.

Also related is the post at a time to rendย about Answers in Genesisโ€™ view on the Bible and unicorns.

Pharyngula also mentions Ken Hamโ€™s claim that his creation museum is controversial. Hopefully Ham would admit that some things are controversial because they are bad for us, and many of us feel that young-earth creationism falls into that category.

Science + Religion Today linked to an article pointing out that Indiana (former) politician Mark Souder is not just a hypocrite when it comes to morality, but was also a proponent of creationism. Steve Wiggins also comments on the Souder affair.

Sola Intellectum links to an online video of Sarah Coakley addressing evolution and theology. There are also videos online from the University of Chicagoโ€™s Darwin celebration.

Otagosh had a post on creationism and the Missouri Synod.

And last but by no means least, many blogs have drawn attention to the news that the likelihood of universal common ancestry has been statistically calculated and, unsurprisingly to most of us, it is extremely probable.
