Asking Questions on Academia.edu

I just tried out the new feature on Academia.edu which allows you to ask questions and engage in discussion on a variety of academic topic. I posed the same question as in the recent post about translating a technical term in the Mandaean Book of John.

I’ll be interested to see whether and to what extent Academia.edu becomes a focus of discussion akin to what sometimes occurs at present on academic blogs.
