The Last Question

I was reminded recently of the story “The Last Question” by Isaac Asimov. It explores the intersection between religion and science fiction in an intriguing fashion (and presumably served as the inspiration for George Zebrowski’s novel Macrolife).

I discovered that the story is available online, both the original text and as a graphic novel (although the latter is not a good quality scan).
