  • There is no doubt that some people who profess a high view of Scripture do so selectively or even hypocritically. What troubles me about your frequent posts on the Bible is that you seem to think that holding a high view of the Bible is ipso facto evidence of hypocrisy.Must one consider it merely the words of men before being considered as acting in good faith toward others?

          What I mean, is that your taking the Bible more critically allows you to maintain a higher view than those who would take it literally.
