An interesting story came to my attention via a Greek archaeology feed aggregator, which with a bit of help led me to a story from the Biblical Archaeology Society.
If the results of carbon dating indicated in the article are correct, then cedar beams used in the Al-Aqsa Mosque were there long before its construction. Could they have been part of the Jewish temples that occupied that spot in earlier centuries?
It’s an interesting story, and I hope that more details will be forthcoming!
