I thought I should post a reminder about the bloggers’ dinner tonight at Yard House (849 E. Commerce St.). It starts at 7pm, but if you show up later, some of us who have other plans later in the evening might be able to cycle out to make room for new arrivals at the table. Looking forward to seeing you there!
If you’re free, why not just come to the Digital Humanities session before that, and then we can head to the blogger dinner from there?
For those who may find it useful, below is some of the information on the event Facebook page, and some photos from previous years.
As every year, bloggers who are attending the American Academy of Religion and Society of Biblical Literature Annual Meeting are invited to gather for dinner and/or drinks, enjoyable conversations, and a rare chance to meet face to face with people many of whom we talk with throughout the year.
A reservation for 25 has been made at Yard House (849 E. Commerce St on the River Walk), which looks like a perfect venue that can accommodate a group our size and allow us to order off the menu so that everyone can stick within their budget. You can find more information on their website here: http://www.yardhouse.com/
