Rod at the Political Jesus blog has a brief review of TRON Legacy.
It is an indication of what those who have seen it found interesting that I have been getting lots of visitors coming to the blog via search engines, looking for information about isomorphic algorithms.
I hope to return to that topic in more detail at some point, since it connects with a theme that is explored in The Matrix films but left largely unaddressed in both TRON
films. If programs are made or become sentient, then what rights will they have as persons? Does the fact that we contributed to their creation to a greater or lesser extent give us the right to command them, to keep them confined, or to do any of the other things we might instinctively do in the case of artificial intelligences, and yet would be prosecuted if we did them to our biological offspring?
