Given my interest in religion and science (Iโ€™m even teaching my class on the subject this semester) this quote which Menachem Mendel shared, and which apparently comes from Thomas Friedmanโ€™s book, From Beirut to Jerusalem, p.429, seemed worth sharing.

Iโ€™ve only been to one of the two โ€“ like most human beings, Iโ€™ve never been off the Earth โ€“ and so I canโ€™t compare. But with Neil Armstrongโ€™s passing, and my recent second visit to Jerusalem, and my interest in religion and science, I thought I would share this, and see what thoughts readers had about it.
