3) What Do We Hold Valuable?
When you’re given an evacuation order from the State government you realize just how fleeting your life is and how soon things can change in the blink of an eye. When collecting your valuables you really start to think about what exactly a “valuable” is to you and what you hold valuable in your eyes. You truly understand what the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) meant by “Live in this world as if you are a traveler.” I began reflecting upon what I considered a valuable and began thinking about what things I could let go of and should probably remove from my life. Likewise we may need to get rid of things that weigh us down, slow us down and the includes negative people/relationships.
