Transhumanism vs. the Soul: The Fight for Human Divinity

Transhumanism vs. the Soul: The Fight for Human Divinity February 22, 2025

Transhumanism’s War on the Soul

Throughout history, humanity has sought to elevate itself through a deeper understanding of our divine nature. Yet in the past decade, a growing movement known as transhumanism has emerged with the promise to improve human life through merging man with machine to enhance our intelligence and extend our lifespan. While that may seem reasonable and even visionary, a deeper examination reveals a far more sinister agenda—one that threatens to sever our connection to the divine and redefine what it means to be human.

Modifications Designed to Override the Natural Order

Gregg Braden, a renowned scientist and spiritual thinker, has extensively explored the intersection of ancient wisdom and modern science. His crusade has taken the form of appearances on leading spiritual podcasts and his just-released book, Pure Human. He warns that the reductionist view of humanity as nothing more than a biological machine is one of the great dangers of our time. Perhaps THE great danger of our time. By seeking to alter and manipulate our DNA, consciousness, and physical form—it denies the sacred intelligence that has guided human evolution from the dawn of time. This mechanistic approach disregards the spiritual essence that defines humanity and replaces it with artificial intelligence and genetic modifications designed to override the natural order.

The push for transhumanist advancements is not occurring in isolation. Powerful global institutions such as the World Economic Forum (WEF), the United Nations, and the World Health Organization (WHO) have aggressively promoted policies that seek to integrate technology into the human body, creating a society where biometric surveillance, brain-computer interfaces, and genetic engineering are not only normalized but required. We are seeing elements of this already happening already in China. Figures such as Yuval Noah Harari, a key voice within the WEF, openly discuss human free will becoming obsolete, arguing that AI and algorithms will soon know individuals better than they know themselves. This dystopian vision is presented as progress, yet it paves the way for unprecedented control over human beings at the most fundamental level—our biology, thoughts, emotions, and most importantly, our soul.

The Technology is Here

Transhumanism is a direct assault on human consciousness. Traditional spiritual teachings across cultures emphasize that the human body is a sacred vessel or temple for divine intelligence, with our consciousness transcending our physical form. The increasing integration of AI-driven enhancements, neural implants, and synthetic modifications will sever this connection, replacing consciousness with an external force or operating system. Once humanity accepts the premise that intelligence and decision-making can be outsourced to machines (which we already see happening with AI), we become vulnerable to manipulation and control on an unprecedented scale. What happens when thoughts are no longer our own? When emotions can be chemically or digitally regulated or even created by external systems? These are not far-off possibilities, the technology is here and it’s already happening.

We Risk Losing Touch

By far the most dangerous aspect of transhumanism is beyond the physical and cognitive, it’s the direct challenge to the human soul. Ancient spiritual traditions around the world speak of the divine spark within each of us. Within the Vedic religions, the common greeting of Namaste refers to the divinity within each of us. Christians teach that we are children of God. If we allow technology to fundamentally alter our nature, are we not also altering or even erasing that divine aspect? When we prioritize artificial enhancements over spiritual evolution, we risk losing touch with the very qualities that make us human and our intrinsic relationship with the cosmos.

Technological Seduction

To resist this encroachment on human divinity, we must first recognize and reclaim the sacred power within us. Gregg Braden and other spiritual leaders emphasize the importance of heart-based intelligence, intuition, and the innate wisdom encoded in our very DNA. True evolution does not come from technological modification but from expanding our consciousness and deepening our connection to the divine. Instead of surrendering to the transhumanist agenda, it’s vital that we cultivate the spiritual tools necessary to navigate this age of technological seduction with discernment and clarity.
