Guest Post at Alise Write!

I’m guest posting at Alise Write’s place today! I didn’t write this piece specifically for Week of Mutuality, but I think it fits the theme. Because of the inequalities that women face in the church, many of us feel that we have to be careful not to be too much. We can’t be too smart or too intelligent. We can’t be too much of a leader or too good at what we do. We have to stay in our box of femininity and away from the church’s low glass ceiling. 

But we shouldn’t have to be afraid of being too much.
