“The Outlaw King” is a muddled mess… just like history November 16, 2018

The link below is to an hour long conversation on the qualities (or lack thereof) of Netflix’s latest film The Outlaw King. My co-host thinks that it respects the historical sources, pays tribute to the muddled mess of Medieval politics, and is respectful of tradition and religion. I think that all of those things are true, and it’s still a boring, disordered movie. You, of course, can be the judge by listening here or to the City of Man Podcast (also available on iTunes, Stitcher, and elsewhere on the internet).

Dr. Coyle Neal is co-host of the City of Man Podcast and an Associate Professor of Political Science at Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, MO. He is not even a law-abiding king.
