The Scientology Tools for Life helped one woman transform her own life. And she is paying it forward by helping others. This is how it all went down.
Meet Irene Moemise
Being unemployed was a very unhappy state of affairs. Especially in her circumstances. You see, Irene is highly qualified. In fact, she even holds a master’s degree. Nonetheless, her certificate wasn’t paying the bills.
Looking for answers
“I grew up as a typical township girl,” says Ms. Moemise who lives in Meadowlands, a suburb of Soweto, in Gauteng Province, South Africa. “And I had the sole goal of improving the lives of the members of my family. I managed to get a good education. And I was very privileged to grow in my job until the pandemic hit.”
However, because of the pandemic, her job was phased out.
“I had no idea what to do—I was devastated. But I knew that if I didn’t act soon I would suffer greatly in the future.”
Finding the Answers in the Tools for Life
“I was introduced to the Tools for Life program,” she says. “And that was exactly what I needed. In fact, it gave me a sense of direction. A sense of what to do next.”
She was convinced that the Tools for Life were what she needed. And she could see that here was a practical way to get herself out of this situation. So she dedicated herself to studying the Tools For Life courses.
Just Like Magic
These courses were like a magical gift. Indeed, it was because of what she learned that she decided to open a bakery. She called it Le’Bakery. She used what she learned on the courses. As a result, it took off like a shot. And it has been growing ever since.
Consequently, she is now an entrepreneur. What’s more, she is also providing employment to others. These tools form the foundation of how she trains her staff. How she supervises production. And how she continues to grow her business.
Helping those in need
Ms. Moemise asks her customers for a small donation and uses that to provide bread free of charge to those in need. She supplies bread to shelters for battered women and children. And when someone comes asking for day-old bread at a reduced cost, she hands them a loaf right out of the oven with a smile.
Small businesses are a key target of community development
“Small businesses form a key part of the value chain of any community. And they are a key target of community development. If many local businesses are introduced to this program, we will have a very strong economy,” she says.
The Tools for Life really changed her life
“These tools for life really changed my life,” she says. “And I wouldn’t be where I am today without them. They have changed the way I do things; they have made me more passionate. And more involved in my community.”
The Tools for life skills development program is delivered by the Scientology Volunteer Ministers and is applicable to all members of society. They host a variety of free seminars for communities. And they have trained thousands on these tools.
And that’s why Ms. Moemise says that an appropriate description of what she experienced is: the Scientology Tools for Life Helped One Woman Transform her Own Life.
Their headquarters is Castle Kyalami.
The headquarters of the Scientology Volunteer Ministers in South Africa is Castle Kyalami. Mr. David Miscavige, ecclesiastical leader of the Scientology religion, dedicated Castle Kyalami on New Year’s Day 2019.
Tools for Life form the training of the Scientology Volunteer Ministers. And this is a program created in the mid-1970s by renowned humanitarian Mr. L. Ron Hubbard.
L. Ron Hubbard once said, “From Southern Africa will spring the next great civilization on this planet.” And the Tools for Life have set the country on the path to accomplishing this dream.
