By the time you read this you will have already experienced many gifts–the muscles that contract to allow your body to move out of bed, the gift of someone’s time to teach you to read, the gift of the innovation and labor that made the internet itself possible.
Make a list of all the gifts you’ve experienced between the moment you woke up and now.
Look over the list and consider how many are gifts are wholly good like muscles and which ones might be tainted by sin like a computer made using metals whose purchase helped fund war in Congo. Thank God for gifts that make your life possible and ask forgiveness for the use of things that were gained at the expense of others or the creation.
