Country Music and Catholicism Have the Same Problem (Why the Saint’s Wouldn’t Listen to Luke Bryan)

You can see it when people try to justify their vote for either of our main candidates. We use our vocabulary to justify our selfish and worldly actions. We are MUCH better at *talking* about Catholicism than we are at being Catholic.

We are becoming a church of Luke Bryans, God forbid. We need to be a church of Willie Nelsons and Patsy Clines. Shoot, I’d settle for a church full of Shania Twains and Garth Brookses!
