What someone else has conceived.
You don’t have to feel shame
Because of their misplaced blame.
You don’t have to fear
What they imagined was there.
You don’t have to look
At their sacred or holy book.
You don’t have to concede
To bow and / or bend your knee.
You don’t have to agree
With their ancient, man-made creed.
You don’t have to make space
At a certain time and place.
Your don’t need a team
To tell you how to succeed.
All you need is your knowing
To keep you alive and growing.
As you grow, you start seeing
The you at the core of your being.
You start trusting your self
Not a book you found on a shelf.
You don’t need anything else.
