I never lifted no damn luggage, says the escort hired by George Alan Rekers

I never lifted no damn luggage, says the escort hired by George Alan Rekers May 6, 2010

BUT what the Miami rentboy DID do was apply body rubs once a day – in the nude – to anti-gay activist and Baptist minister George Alan Rekers during their ten-day vacation in Europe.

Dr George Alan Rekers
‘Lucien’, the male escort hired by Rekers, 62, has told Miami New Times the Baptist minister is definitely a homosexual who paid him to deliver the randy old bigot’s favourite manoeuvre, which he called “the long stroke”.
This, elaborated ‘Lucien’, is a complicated caress

Across his penis, thigh … and his anus over the butt cheeks. Rekers liked to be rubbed down there.

Ewwww … One can only hope the fee he was paid was worth it.
In his first interview since New Times broke the story on Tuesday, the 20-year-old escort, who prefers to go by the name ‘Lucien’, denies Rekers’ claims that he hired the escort to help lift his luggage, and that he was trying to save the soul of a lost sinner.
Although Rekers does have physical ailments that make it difficult for him to haul suitcases, ‘Lucien’ said he wasn’t hired to lift luggage on their European vacation.
Commenting on Rekers’ version of the story, the escort said:

It’s a situation where he’s going against homosexuality when he is a homosexual.

‘Lucien’ decided to speak out after a heart-to-heart with a friend, Michael, who alerted him to the grim realities of his client’s anti-gay activities. The escort, who had originally declined to speak about the trip, now says he can do little good by protecting his erstwhile, fundamentalist client.

Rekers, caught on camera at Miami Internation Airport with ‘Lucien’, appears quite capable of lifting his own luggage
‘Lucien’ added:

In all honesty, he should disassociate himself from these [anti-gay] groups.

In the past 24 hours, Rekers, a board member at the National Association for Research & Therapy of Homosexuality (NARTH) and co-founder of the Family Research Council, has claimed he took Lucien to Europe to inspire him to accept Jesus into his heart and renounce his homosexuality.
In a statement posted on his website, he calls the original report about his relationship with Lucien “misleading” and “cleverly giving false impressions of inappropriate behavior.” The implication that he had hired a prostitute, he said, was incorrect.
Pompously referring to himself in the third person, he wrote:

Contrary to Internet stories based on this slanderous article, following medical advice Professor George Rekers requires an assistant to lift his luggage in his travels because of an ongoing condition following surgery. His family, local friends, and even another university professor colleague have offered to accompany him on trips to lift luggage. Professor Rekers was not involved in any illegal or sexual behavior with his travel assistant.

Adds Rekers:

Contrary to false gossip, innuendo, and slander about me, I do not in any way ‘hate’ homosexuals, but I seek to lovingly share two types of  massages messages to them, as I did with the young man called ‘Lucien’ in the news story: [1] It is possible to cease homosexual practices to avoid the unacceptable health risks associated with that behavior, and [2] the most important decision one can make is to establish a relationship with God for all eternity by trusting in Jesus Christ’s sacrifice on the cross for the forgiveness of your sins, including homosexual sins. If you talk with my travel assistant that the story called ‘Lucien,’ you will find I spent a great deal of time sharing scientific information on the desirability of abandoning homosexual intercourse, and I shared the Gospel of Jesus Christ with him in great detail.

Contacted for comment, the Family Research Council confirmed that Rekers was a member of its founding board. Said Family Research Council President Tony Perkins:

Reports have been circulating regarding Dr Rekers relationship with a male prostitute. FRC has had no contact with Dr Rekers or knowledge of his activities in over a decade so FRC can provide no further insight into these allegations.

While we are extremely disappointed when any Christian leader engages in the very activities that they ‘preach’ against, it is not surprising. The Scriptures clearly teach the fallen nature of all people. We each have a choice to act upon that nature or accept the forgiveness offered by grace through faith in Jesus Christ and do our best to ensure our actions, both public and private match our professed positions.

Update – Rekers is overheard telling ‘Lucien’ in a telephone conversation yesterday not to speak to the press. The vile, lying hypocrite is being stitched up like a kipper.
