Iran's top Koran reciter stands accused of raping his students

Iran's top Koran reciter stands accused of raping his students October 27, 2016

Saeed Toosi, 46, above, one of Iran’s most celebrated Koran readers, has been accused of sexually assaulting a number of his students aged between 12 ad 14 over a period of seven years.
According to this report, Toosi – once descibed an “exemplary model to be followed” by Ali Khamenei, current Supreme Leader of Iran –
represented Iran in the international Koranic competition and won the first prize.

In a television programme broadcasted by The Persian Voice of America, three of his victims said that they have written evidence and audio recordings clearly pointing to Toosi in which he admitted in his own handwriting that his actions were a “mistake”.
In an audio recording , Toosi is heard saying the that Khamenei is well aware of the situation, and had agreed with the head of the judiciary authority Sadek Larijani to cover up the case in order to safeguard the reputation of the Koranic institution in Iran.
One of the victims, a first prize winner in a recent Koranic competition, alleged that Toosi took advantage of him when he was his companion during a competition abroad. He booked a hotel room in which he molested and raped the then 12-year-old.
The victims added that they filed complaints against the Koranic reader to officials in the House of the Leadership after they were were advised to. But officials ignored their claims after they received a “repentance letter “ in which where Toosi admitted his wrondoing and claimed “he is a changed man”.
A later Al-Arabiya report says that a spokesman for Iran’s judiciary, Gholam Hossein Mohseni-Ejei, confirmed that Toosi stands accused of raping 19 children and that his case had been passed to an expert judge to decide and rule .
During a press conference, Mohseni-Ejei said that the court had charged Toosi with “advocating corruption” after four victims filed complaints against him .
It’s anyone’s guess whether Toosi will ever face trial because it’s reported that the Army of the Guardians of the Islamic Revolution is planning to assassinate him to put an end to the scandal.
It is also reported that Toosi threatened that, if he were to be prosecuted, he would to leak the names of 100 of Iran’s high profile officials who  raped and molested children.

  • So 100 high profile officials may also be guilty of the same crime? How dreadful. If they are arrested and found to be guilty by the crazed ayatollahs, will they all end up dangling from cranes? And what of Tootsi? Will he be tossed off (from a high place) by members of the Guardians of the Islamic Republic? If so, all I can say is that it jolly well serves the foul beast right.

It does seem that the Muslim and Christian “leaders” are all cast from the same mould. Child rape is topping the CV’s of the clerics both in the west and stone age middle east.

If the Guardian Army get their way he will disappear, be expunged from all records, become a non-person who in fact never was. Could be the title of my next Nobel Prize for literature – ‘Whatever happened to Tootsi?’

    Toot, toot, Toosi, goodbye;
    Toot, toot, Toosi, don’t cry.

A changed man, eh? Funny how they all suddenly ‘change’ the moment they’ve been exposed.

“once described an “exemplary model to be followed” by Ali Khamenei, current Supreme Leader of Iran –”
That shouldn’t surprise anyone. Under the cloak of religion being exemplary is easily achieved. What is surprising is that he has been exposed.

Maybe he can claim in his defence that all that bloody Koran recitation turned his imbecilic brain to mush:
At least we know now why even the kids have to be swathed in Christmas wrapping paper from head to toe!

That video you linked to is scary – the child is utterly brainwashed already. It’s a form of abuse.

AC: How can you say that ? She is a “Muslim scholar”, and understands every word of what she says! I can only feel sorry for her, as I had similar experiences, and was pushed forward on a regular basis to recite long screeds of scripture, much of which meant nothing to me at all, but it brought tears to the eyes of the adult believers (I’m not joking!). In a way I even feel sorry for Tootsie.
Here’s another famous case (Duffey Strode), who was well and truly owned on Oprah’s show. I understand that he’s now happily married, but still a religious nut. He has absolutely no idea what these verses mean:
His father’s a real smug bastard. There are other videos showing very disturbing behaviour by his other children.

No doubt he was taken over by a Djin that made him do it against his will and of course he did not enjoy what the Djin made him do.

Maybe he will plead “It was the Koran that made me do it”?
That is sure grounds for diminished responsibility.
