Senators, Members of the House of Representatives, and soldiers in the U.S. military take oaths to protect the U.S. Constitution. Donald Trump is off the rails. Soldiers then put their lives on the line to honor this oath. Republicans, Americans need you to defend the Constitution. Do something! You took an oath.

No one asks you, Republicans, to risk your lives to vote against nominees who will do President Trump’s bidding but are otherwise unqualified to serve as heads of the government’s agencies.
Has Donald Trump threatened to oppose your reelection with another candidate? While I am sure the prestige of being a member of Congress is attractive, is it more important than the Constitution? I think you dishonor the American people by voting out of fear.
Sacrifice? Perhaps, But Not the Ultimate Sacrifice
Our country has managed to keep the democratic republic going for almost 250 years. Former Representative Liz Cheney verbalized what is at stake.
“Tonight, I say this to my Republican colleagues who are defending the indefensible: There will come a day when Donald Trump is gone, but your dishonor will remain.”
Plenty of Americans are already losing respect for you because you do not resist Trump.
Regular Life is Fine (Or at Least it Has Been)
American soldiers do not know whether they will return from their missions because they put their lives on the line. Please consider defending the Constitution more important than returning to Congress.
Plenty of us in the United States do not associate with famous people or have our names discussed in the news. You would be surprised at how rich your life could be even if you were not re-elected. You would have more time with your family, children or grandchildren. You could work for a nonprofit or in the garden and volunteer to help people in your community. Your conscience would be clear.
Because you want to keep hold of your position and fear losing a future election, all Americans will suffer the consequences and we will all know who to blame. Do something!
