I literally could not put this book down. This is more than a mere tale of zombies. Mr Pearce takes us inside the minds of a diverse group of people grappling to understand a new reality. It is harrowing and heartbreaking. What happens when society disintegrates? I found this to be a believable depiction of how people try to hang onto their own humanity and their own wits. I sure hope the next chapter is written soon.
