About

Alex is a progressive Christian in his mid-twenties who loves ministry and academia, but not enough to forsake his free time and become a priest or professor.

Culturally he straddles the line between younger millennials and gen Z. He’s very aware of the disconnect between his demographic and organized religion. He hopes “To Bind” can act as a neutral space for folks to explore issues of religion, and see what a pluralistic, queer affirming, science and working class friendly Christianity looks like, without feeling pressured to adopt a specific faith identity or version of faith.

He’s also super interested in society’s relationship to technology and media, and how we can stay grounded in humanity as our relationship with screens becomes more and more complex.
