Abortion silliness

Having seen the formulation several times and been incredulous, I’ll offer the opportunity to anyone who wishes to make the argument.

Short of dragging the woman in to the abortion clinic on a leash, on what basis would one make the claim  that the man should be held legally liable for the abortion?

See here for example.  The context of the example is here.  By the way, you will see the Menedez Phenomena reflected in the polling.  The Menedez Brothers killed their parents and sought mercy since they were now orphans.  Those who think the mother should suffer no punishment for abortion believe the pain of the loss of their child is enough punishment.
