I mean, I keep hearing how the Republican Party is the best “vehicle” for advancing pro-life causes, but so little criticism has “stemmed” from McCain’s support for the destruction of countless human lives in laboratories for research purposes. I don’t even recall this issue being brought up by either Sam Brownback or Mike Huckabee–the two religious pro-lifers–in any of the Republican debates.

Finally, the most troubling aspect of McCain’s candidacy is brought to light. I cannot believe that immigration and climate change were forwarded as deal breakers for McCain over and above embryonic stem cell research. So much for the pro-life drive among many prominent conservatives.
Accordingly, Dobson pledged his support for Mike Huckabee’s candidacy today. This does not strike me as surprising given that Huckabee is really the only major candidate for president who consistently and unabashedly opposes the murder of persons in the womb and in the laboratory. Now if he only hadn’t sold-out on immigration to attract the base…
