See the foreign policy part of the Katie Couric interview, hot on the heels of her not knowing the pros and cons of the bailout plan, and not being able to name a single instance of where McCain pushed for regulation of financial markets. In this episode, she breaks foreign policy down into supporting the “good guys” and opposing the “bad guys” (exact language!), says that Israel should not be second-guessed on anything, and calls people (like Henry Kissinger) who believe in talking to the leaders of Iran and Syria without preconditions “beyond naive”. And, of course, the fact that Alaska borders Russia and Canada is touted as evidence or her strong foreign policy experience. And yet if, as she claims, Putin flies from Moscow to Washington via Alaska, then I would suggest that he needs a new travel agent!
