This week was another volatile week in conservative politics. A disgraced representative from my home state tried to use her position and power to oust the speaker of the house because he wasn’t bowing to her and MAGA’s demands. Representative Greene has become obsessed with control and convincing the GOP to only serve and protect criminal Trump  and it further displays the corruption of a once-conservative party. Deception Greed Obsession with power Ms. Greene and MAGA have forgotten about how... Read more

For some time now the world has been trying to broker a cease-fire between Israel and Hamas. This week  we’ve come to achieving peace since the conflict broke out last year.   Since then life has been a nightmare for all Palestinians living in Gaza who are caught in the crossfire.  The fallout has spread to other areas in the Middle East. Destruction Displaced Palestinians Death Famine It seems everyone wants a cease-fire except Israel. Prime Minister Netanyahu’s quest for... Read more

This week criminal Trump once again made headlines by stating he will not accept the 2024 election results if he doesn’t like how the election goes. He also still pushes the big lie about the 2020 election being stolen from the American people, just because he didn’t win. History remembers the chaos that followed criminal Trump’s attempt to stay in power. Violence Lies Disruption of government proceedings For the first time in American history, a president resisted the peaceful transfer... Read more

This week the nation has been plagued with continuing pro-Palestine protests on college campuses and universities around the country. Ironically, while many are calling for justice and peace, they are utilizing extreme force. Disrupting the peace Destroying property Disobeying the law While I understand the cause and concern, I do not condone the chaos and confusion. Our First Amendment rights cannot be abused to get what we want. We cannot use our freedoms to violate the freedoms and rights of... Read more

This week countries continue to protest Israel, especially after its attacks on Rafah in southern Gaza. Not only is Rafah where Israel urged Palestinians to flee to at the beginning of Israel’s crusade against Hamas, it’s also the location of a crossing from Gaza to Egypt. Rafah has become a refugee camp for displaced Palestinians. Peace Shelter Safe passage Appropriately, Rafah means prosperity and well-being. But life there has not been anything pleasant since the beginning of the recent Hamas-Israel... Read more

There are lots of big headlines in the news this week, like the latest trial for the GOP presidential candidate. For the last eight years, citizen Trump has declared the GOP as a party of law and order. Even before taking office, he promised to restore law and order to America. Our courts were designed to judge unlawful behavior, that’s why we call it the justice system. Ironically Mr. Trump has found himself on the wrong side of the law... Read more

As I write this the GOP-controlled house is putting its dysfunction on display for the world to see. A small fraction of the party is refusing to do the right thing by standing up against the evil axises of the world (Genesis 18:25, Deuteronomy 12:28, James 4:17.) Due to the disagreement over what is right, the conservative speaker has been threatened with being removed from power by those who have become corrupt by their thirst for earthly power. We can... Read more

This weekend the world was shocked by the massive attack by Iran against Israel. It isn’t the first time God’s people have been attacked by outside powers and it won’t be the last time. We shouldn’t be surprised by what is happening in the Middle East, the Jewish prophets warned us long ago how the nations of the world would war against God’s chosen nation (Psalm 83:1-18, Isaiah 46:9-10, Zachariah 14:2-3, Joel 1:6.)           As God’s... Read more

This week the country was saddened to hear about the death of one of the greatest running backs in football. O.J. Simpson or “The Juice” was an explosive runner who won awards and set records. Growing up a lot of my childhood friends who liked the sport idolized Simpson because of his speed and sturdy legs. After his 11-year stint as a football player ended, his charisma and star power transferred to the big and little screens. Unfortunately, his power... Read more

This week the entire nation has been mesmerized with the total solar eclipse that won’t occur again in the United States for another 20 years. It seemed people were freaking out everywhere and making big plans to try to witness the event that occurs regularly around the world.   Schools canceled classes or let out early to allow children to go witness this great spectacle. Many people were unaware of the effects of a total solar eclipse. But, I think we... Read more
