Witchy Blog Award

A bit of a shock! and Honor! I was nominated by Spanish Moss for “The Witchy Blog Award” Thank You Spanish Moss!

Seven Questions:
I. How did you “discover” Wicca/Witchcraft? I was living in Japan at the time, and ordered a book on how to make incense, it ended up being Scott Cunningham, I read through the book and wanted more. So I looked for a pagan circle in the area and found an American Military organization called Circle of the Rising Moon. It was a huge step for me, and helped shape the path I am on now. Beside that I really got into crystals in Japan, they are very open to healing energies like Reiki and Crystal therapy. I received my first Reiki treatment in Japan, and was hooked!

III. Are you “in the broom closet”? If not, share your “going out” experience. I am in and out. I am 90% out, but when it comes to family we “just” don’t talk about it.

IV. What tradition do you follow? I follow the Tradition of Eternal Harvest Wicca and have been initiated as a Priestess within their tradition, I am a student of the Avalon Mystery School, and a Reiki Master, some how these all fit together perfectly and I enjoy each of them.

V. Do you consider yourself a Witch, a Wiccan or a Pagan (or maybe something else)? I consider myself a Witch, Priestess, and Folk Magician

VI. How much of Witchcraft/Wicca are you able to incorporate into your everyday life?
I am not perfect by any means, but I do try to “work” everyday, from meditation, ritual, Reiki or even something as simple as gardening.

VII. Do you have a Familiar? If you do, tell us how did you meet your Familiar?
I do! His name is Magick a Black cat I rescued from Japan.
